THE LAKE ~ COMMUNITY
MORE THAN A VIEW
THE LAKE IS YOUR PLAYGROUND
When people come out to Lake Conroe for the first time, they’re often surprised by just how massive it is. With 22,000 acres stretching 26 miles long, 6 miles wide, and more than 157 miles of beautiful shoreline, the lake has something for everyone.
Lake Conroe waterfront homes have a little bit of everything. Water sports fans come for the skiing, boating, and swimming, while fishers come out for the great catches. Hikers and campers head to the north end of the lake for the serene expanse of the Sam Houston National Forest. Some people just want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Whatever brings you out to the lake, the common reason that keeps many people here is the quaint lifestyle.
The Shoreline is located on the south shore of Lake Conroe. The lake offers 157 miles of shoreline, 26 miles long and 6 miles wide for you to explore and make a splash. Just outside your door is the Waterpoint Marina, your gateway to 22,000 acres of fun on the water. The Marina’s rentable in-water storage slips accommodate boats of all sizes, guaranteeing access to your boat when the moment strikes you. The Marina also plays host to various watersports options, with everything from exclusive yacht charters to fly boards available for your enjoyment.
When you’re done with the lake for the day, Waterpoint also offers multiple retail and dining options. Get your kinks worked out with a therapeutic massage, shop for the latest fashions at three unique boutiques, or enjoy dinner and drinks at any of the lakeside restaurants while you watch the sunset on the water.
Fun in the City
A short drive gives you access to the restaurants and entertainment centers of The Woodlands. Take in some shopping and dine in style at Hughes Landing or Market Street then head over to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion to catch the biggest touring acts. Finish up your night on the town with a relaxing walk down the Waterpoint boardwalk, just outside your home, listening to the sound of waves lapping gently against the dock.
THE BEST IN GOLFING
If golf is your game, you’re in luck: there are multiple courses right on the lake, including the famous Walden on Lake Conroe — rated by Golf Digest as the best course in the Houston area and 5th best in the state. You could hop in the car and be there in minutes.
